These days, it’s far less common for someone to stick with one company for all of their working years, and it’s even harder to find and keep a job. But some employers are better places for building a career because they help workers learn skills, get promoted, and set them up for long-term success.
LinkedIn’s 10th annual Top Companies list has just come out, highlighting the best workplaces to grow your career in the U.S.
It’s based on data from the professional networking site for companies with at least 100 full-time employees using metrics related to career progression, including how many employees are picking up new skills and how quickly they’re promoted.
Number one this year is JPMorgan Chase, the financial services company.
Alphabet, the parent company of Google, Waymo, YouTube, Fitbit and more, comes in second.
