A new report claims to have it figured out.
- WalletHub has just revealed their annual list of the Happiest States in the U.S.
- They rated each state on 30 key metrics in the areas of emotional & physical well-being, work environment, and community & environment.
- Factors range from depression rates to unemployment rates, and income growth to physical health.
- Hawaii tops the list as the happiest state in 2024, landing at number one for emotional & physical well-being and third for community & environment.
- Utah, fourth overall, is first for work environment and community & environment.
- At the bottom of the list is Louisiana, making it the least happy state overall. It’s 49th for both emotional & physical well-being and work environment, and 40th for community & environment.
