To help moms and dads find the ideal set of wheels for their kid, “U.S. News & World Report” has just come out with their list of the Best New and Used Cars for Teens in 2024.
- It includes vehicles that “excel in safety and dependability,” those that come highly recommended by critics and have good crash test scores.
- The Best New Cars for teens winners have the best combo of predicted reliability ratings, crash test scores and available advanced driver-assistance features in their price range.
- The Best Used Cars for teens are models from 2019 to 2021 that have the best dependability and safety ratings, projected ownership costs, positive reviews from critics and available crash-prevention tech in their categories.
- Hyundai has the most wins for new cars, with four, and they also have three awards in the used car categories.
- Hybrid vehicles win three of the eight new car categories and three of the five used car categories.
