$40K to smoke a J - with Seth Rogen. Well, that and a pottery lesson.
The lessons were by far the most popular items of Rogen and his wife Lauren Miller Rogen’s live auction during their annual Hilarity for Charity event in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Seth and Lauren started HFC — which raises money for Alzheimer’s awareness and care giver support — after the actress’ mother was diagnosed with the disease when she was just 55 years old.
Other notable items in the auction were a private cooking lesson with Momofuku chef David Chang ($26K), a private skateboarding lesson for four with Tony Hawk ($24K) and John Mayer surprised the crowd by offering up a signed guitar and a private virtual concert, which also went for $26K. The event raised $860K in total.
