Fishing for a Cure was massive success and a great time!
The River 105-9 spent the day out on the seas to team up with Hometown Foundation, Inc. The Connecticut Charter and Party Boat Association for a fundraiser like no other!
Over a dozen charter boats set sail with groups eager to catch the top three largest fish in each category (Scup, Bluefish/Striper, and Seabass) for a prize! After that, we all headed back to shore for a celebration at Mago Point Marina for the final weigh-in, raffles, food, prizes, and more!
All in all, we were able to raise over $24K for The Hometown Foundation, Inc.’s major illness pillar, breast cancer charities and curing rare disease.
