Connecticut is one of the BEST States for us to Work from Home!

A lot of us LOVE working from home. A lot of us HATE working from home. Here in Connecticut, we've actually been ranked pretty high up on the POSITIVE list of Best States to Work from Home in.

We didn't make the top ten, but we're not far behind. Connecticut came in at 15. 15 outta 50 is pretty good!

Most Americans have spent the last year working from home, and most folks were able to adapt, although it may not have been easy. But it turns out whether you had a positive or negative experience working remotely may depend on where you live, and a new report reveals the states where people have it the easiest. 

  • A new WalletHub report reveals the Best States For Working From Home.
  • They looked at the 50 states plus the District of Columbia, judging them on 12 key factors.
  • They include share of workers working from home before COVID-19, Internet costs, cyber security, average price of electricity, average home square footage and more.
  • Topping the list is Delaware, which scores a 65.51 out of 100, and lands at four for Work Environment, but is only at 22 for Living Environment.
  • Colorado, which ranks 12thoverall, is tops for Work Environment, while Georgia, third overall, is number one for Living Environment.

  4. New Hampshire
  5. Tennessee
  6. Arizona
  7. New Jersey
  8. Texas
  9. Utah
  10. Oregon 
  • As for the worst state to work from home, Alaska earns that “honor,” with a score of 33.73, landing at 50 for Work Environment and 49 for Living Environment.
