Ever since the online game Wordle came out, it has encapsulated people across the globe. It has become so wildly popular that it is being turned into a physical board game that is set to be released on October 1.
According to CNN, a company called Hasbro is partnering with the owner of Wordle, The New York Times, to create what will be called, Wordle: The Party Game.
"We start with what we're trying to achieve," Hasbro Gaming's Senior Vice President and General Manager Adam Biehl said, according to CNN. "including being "authentic to the Wordle experience as much as possible because we want to capture what got consumers really interested in the game."
The game is available now for pre order and will be sold at Walmart, Target and Amazon the first day of October.
