The annual tradition of the Troy Turkey Trot has a little little scandal this year. It's something that we're not use to seeing at the end of the 10K.
Right at the end of the race, runner Xavier Salvador of Washington, DC seemingly cuts off Jack Huber of Delmar and takes him out, sending both runners to the ground. What makes it odd is that the 2 were competing for 4th place which there is no award for. There is a cash award for the top 3 runners.
Nothing says "Happy Thanksgiving" like taking out another runner at the finish line and then making sure that your GPS stopped instead of checking on the guy that you just send flying into one of the barrier along the side of the street.
