Siena College Will Start Fall Semester 2 Weeks Early

Siena College will be starting their Fall semester 2 weeks early this year. Classes will begin on August 24th and finals will be finished by November 25th.

Why the change in schedule? Siena is basing their decision on the fact that health professionals say that we could see a resurgence in the Coronavirus this Winter. All classroom will also have cameras placed in them for "distance learning". So those students who don't feel comfortable being back in the classroom setting will still be able to take classes.

In recent days/weeks we've seen a steady decline in positive Coronavirus cases and it appears that Siena is going to do whatever they can to keep those numbers down.
