Renee's Adoptables: Meet Luna!

Meet Luna!

Name: Luna

Breed: pittie mix

Age: Under a year

Dogs: TBD

Cats: selective

Kids: Yes

Pretty Miss Luna is longing for her forever home! A little under a year old, this sweet girl is quite the social gal, who loves everyone she meets!

Luna came to MHS after the resident dogs weren't getting along with her, so understandably so, she's a bit apprehensive to new canine friends, but her foster mom is working hard to socialize Luna and help Luna understand that she doesn't always have to be on guard with other dogs.

While we are still getting to know Luna, we can tell you that she is currently besties with one of her resident feline foster siblings, does great in her crate, and is housebroken.

A little more brag time about Luna..., not only is she obviously beautiful!, Luna is insanely smart, and knows most of the basic commands, does great on a leash, and loves her cuddle time! Luna can be jumpy when excited but is working on her manners.

Luna is spayed, microchipped, and being brought UTD on her vaccinations.

About the Meriden Humane Society

Founded in 1893, the Meriden Humane Society is a non-profit, no kill animal shelter and rescue facility. Many of our animals are taken from high risk situations or surrendered by private citizens who are no longer able to care for their animals.

Our organization is privately run and operated. We are supported by patrons and residents who donate to our facility. Contrary to popular belief, we are not affiliated with the Connecticut Humane Society. Without the help we receive from the citizens of our community and surrounding communities, we would not be able to save all the animals that we do.
