WATERBURY—The 41st edition of the Business Women’s Forum, Connecticut’s premier leadership conference for women, will take place on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville and will feature award-winning journalist Joan Lunden as the event’s keynote speaker.

Individuals who purchase their tickets by Jan. 10, 2024 and use code “EARLYBIRD24” at www.ctbwf.com will save $30 on an admission ticket. The Business Women’s Forum is Connecticut’s longest running conference for women in the state devoted to professional and personal development. Throughout the day, attendees will hear from a variety dynamic speakers and trainers, get the opportunity to network with hundreds of other professional women, and get the chance to win prizes. New this year is a marketplace offering a selection of products from local artisans, crafters, independent sellers, and small business owners.

Lunden, an award-winning journalist, bestselling author, television host, and motivational speaker, has been a trusted voice in American homes for more than 40 years. For nearly two decades, Lunden greeted viewers each day on Good Morning America—making her the longest running female host ever on early morning television. Lunden has graced the front of more than 60 magazines and book covers.

The event will also feature motivational speaker Kymberli Speight: an author, professional speaker, and workshop facilitator. Her forte and passion is helping leaders and the individuals they lead rapidly expand their network and effectiveness by learning how to develop elite people skills and foster trust. Also speaking will be Robyn Greenspan, MS, a skilled wordsmith with the soul of a journalist, the mind of a marketer, and the heart of a storyteller.

Renee DiNino, the Director of Community Affairs and On-Air Programming for iHeartMedia in Connecticut, the midday host on The River 105.9FM, and host of an hour-long syndicated talk show on all 10 iHeartRadio stations, will emcee the forum.

As it has always done, the Business Women’s Forum will continue its tradition of supporting young women pursuing a career in business through the distribution of scholarships to Post University. Scholarship recipients will be announced prior to the event. Since the inception of the event, more than $250,000 raised from the Business Women’s Forum has gone towards these scholarships.

The Business Women’s Forum is a program of the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
