Autism Speaks Invites Connecticut to Walk 2023!

Autism Speaks Walk to create a more inclusive world in raising vital funds for the autism community.

WHAT:

The Autism Speaks Connecticut Walk is back to raise vital funds that fuel the Autism Speaks mission of creating a more inclusive world for all people with autism. The 2023 Autism Speaks Connecticut Walk will be held at Rentschler Field at Pratt & Whitney Stadium, bringing the community together to take a stand, celebrate differences and promote the inclusion of people with autism in all aspects of society.

 

WHO:

** Interviews available with participants, Autism Speaks leadership and local families **

Everyone is encouraged to participate. Whether you have autism, love someone who does, or are looking to support a diverse, accepting and kind community – you’re invited!

 

WHERE/WHEN:

The Connecticut Walk will be held on October 29, 2023, at the following location:

WHY:

In the US, autism affects 1 in 36 children and 1 in 45 adults. Autism Speaks is dedicated to creating an inclusive world where all people with autism can reach their full potential.

 

Autism Speaks Walk events are tailored to fit local needs in each community, with the shared goal of providing a network of friendship and support, and raising funds that provide crucial resources, research, advocacy and support to help all people with autism.
