131st Wapping Fair, September 7-10, including Fiesta Shows, Carly’s Critters, Racing Pigs and Family Adventure Circus - South Windsor, CT, - The South Windsor Jaycees are excited once again to bring some incredible attractions to the Wapping Fair! Fiesta Shows, the largest amusement company in New England, will once again bring the very best in adventure and family rides. Also joining us will be bands, magicians, food vendors and agricultural experts to entertain the crowds with their amazing skills and talent. The fair will take place from September 7th through September 10th, 2023.
Dates/Hours/Admissions:
The Wapping Fair is open on Thursday (9/7) from 5-10 p.m.; Friday (9/8) from 5-11 p.m.; Saturday (9/9) from 10 a.m. - 11 p.m.; and Sunday (9/10) from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. On Thursday admission is name your own price night!! Friday - Sunday admission for Adults and Children 57” and over is $8.00, Seniors over 65 and Military with an ID is $4.00, and Children under 57" are free. The fourth annual Italian festival in New Britain is on Sunday, September 10, at the Generale Ameglio Civic Association at 13 Beaver Street. The festival celebrates Italian culture featuring traditional food, music, dancing, and activities, including a spaghetti eating contest, a bocce tournament, a watermelon eating contest, and a homemade wine contest.
