Trumbull Connecticut - In a trailblazing moment for the world of junior golf as the inaugural All-Girls U13 PGA Jr. League All-Star Team, The G SQUAD gears up for their highly anticipated debut at the prestigious Lyman Orchards Golf Club this August.

With an extraordinary display of talent and passion, these young female athletes are poised to make history on the greens.

The team was founded and formed by The G SQUAD’s Captain, Sadie Lee (13) of CT and coached by a well-known and passionate PGA Professional, Bobby Brown.

“My passion is to grow the game of golf for girls and to encourage them to play the best sport in the world. I have played in the PGA Jr League for a couple of years and all the teams had all boys or just a few girls mixed in. I created this team of amazing girl golfers to show the other teams that girls are fierce competitors and that we are fearless. I hope this encourages other girls to create or join our team in the future!” states Sadie Lee, founder of The G SQUAD.

Bobby Brown, head PGA Pro at Tashua Knolls is well known for building the largest youth golfer program in Florida and Trumbull. He has coached tour players such as Brooks Koepka and Lexi Thompson as youths and is excited to lead this group of talented young ladies.

The G SQUAD has 8 highly competitive and successful junior golfers from New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Connecticut and their unwavering commitment and dedication to the sport have impressed the seasoned PGA Jr League All Star teams and coaches, leaving little doubt that these girls are ready to take the junior golfing world by storm.

The team is set for a special training and in-house competition day on Friday July 28th at Tashua Knolls Golf Course to prepare for the upcoming Sectionals.

Despite facing challenges and stereotypes along the way, these young golfers have proven their prowess on the course, mastering their swings, honing their precision putts, and showcasing exceptional skill that belies their age. As they prepare to tee off at Lyman Orchards, anticipation and excitement are building, with golf enthusiasts eager to witness this historic moment.

The significance of this debut extends beyond the game itself. By breaking gender barriers and representing the strength and resilience of young female athletes, The G SQUAD is inspiring a new generation of golfers to pursue their passion without limitations.

As they step onto the hallowed grounds of Lyman Orchards, these girls carry with them the hopes and dreams of young girl golfers worldwide. Their journey represents progress, diversity, and empowerment within the sport and beyond.

The golfing world eagerly awaits the debut of The G SQUAD at Lyman Orchards this August. It is a moment that will be etched in history, celebrating the courage and determination of these exceptional young athletes as they set new standards and open doors for future generations.
