Saturday its Connecticut’s largest Walks Against Hunger at Dunkin Park home of the Hartford Yard Goats – registration starts at 8am – lots of vendors, give-aways and its free to participate! Visit ctfoodshare.org to help us feed Connecticut!!

Friday! The Little Theatre of Manchester at Cheney Hall Strap in for a rockin’ evening celebrating the music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s! Saturday Branford Garden Club & Branford Community Garden’s Annual Spring Sale on the town green from 9:30am to 1pm  Vegetable, Herb and Flower Seedlings; Produce; Floral Note Cards; Cut Flower Bouquets; Plant Divisions; Perennials; Annuals; Children’s Table; Pollinator Plants; Bee Boxes. NEW this Year: House Plants and much more! Bartlett Tree will be giving away 200 native flowering dogwood tree seedlings through its Bartlett Tree Legacy Tree Program. 

We need our bees! Saturday at the Stanley Whitman House Museum in Farmington Join us for Bee Day with free tours of our c. 1720 historic house learning the importance of bees during the colonial time period. Then spend some time seeing what is blooming in our Dooryard Garden and come learn how to do the “Waggle Dance” ! We will have honey for sale in our museum shop. 

Sunday – it’s a very special day for First responders and their families ONLY at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding. We never think about giving our first responders a moment to catch their breath – they see and do things the average human doesn’t, this day is a day of thanks, gratitude, mental health healing and more.
