One big benefit of being a Google/Gmail user over the last few years is the FREE STORAGE that you get on Google Photos for high quality copies of your photos. For example, my Google Photos has all of my photos back to 2008. However, that's going to change as Google Photos is no longer going to give you free storage after June 1st, 2021.
