Lots of controversy has been made over the election and inauguration of Donald Trump; and this weekend the town of Mansfield (home of Storrs and the University of Connecticut, which also voted for Hillary Clinton by more than 70%) was found to have the flag flying upside down.
Flying the flag upside down is known as a sign of distress, and "is conventional protocol to indicate an emergency or problem, or to indicate a state of war".
Much is being made of this because of the inauguration of President Trump. According to the comments, this problem has been rectified. Do you think that whoever did this was in the right, or in the wrong?
