In the wake of Liam Payne's tragic and untimely passing, many of his friends and peers are sharing tributes to the former One Direction singer, including Charlie Puth who beautifully covered One Direction's "Love You Goodbye" in his honor.
During an event at iHeartRadio HQ, Puth performed several of his own songs, but also took a moment to remember Payne with Made In The A.M.'s (the band's last album together) "Love You Goodbye." Sitting at the piano, Charlie performed a stunning cover of the song as he gracefully sang the lyrics.

Following the shocking news of Liam's death, Charlie took to Instagram to mourn him, sharing a photo of the two together, as well as on his Instagram stories with the caption, "Liam was always so kind to me." Charlie had worked with Liam previously on Payne's 2017 solo song "Bedroom Floor."
Puth was at iHeartRadio HQ for "A Night with Charlie Puth & BIC," during which he treated fans to an intimate performance and participated in a Q&A to talk about his music and more. Before the event, a few grand prize winners got to attend a VIP Experience and get an inside look behind Charlie Puth’s creative process in the studio.
