35K people have signed petition urging CIAC to continue high school finals

Earlier today, the CIAC announced that there will be no playoffs for all CIAC sponsored winter sports due to the threat of the coronavirus. Understandably so, outrage quickly hit social media from parents, athletes, and families alike:
