Derby: Free open house to learn about the School of Allied Health Careers at Griffin Hospital training programs on Wed., Dec. 11 from 3-7 p.m. at 300 Seymour Avenue, Suite 206. The school offers certification training for fulfilling careers as Certified Nursing Assistants, Patient Care Technicians, Phlebotomists and Certified Clinical Medical Assistants. An Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist with The Workplace Inc. will be available from 3-5 p.m. to assist with enrolling potential students in the Health Career Academy program, which offers tuition assistance and other support to those pursuing a career in healthcare.
