GOOD NEWS! Strangers Save Boy’s Bday Party When No One Showed

On Sunday, Kyler Workman waited for guests to arrive at his seventh birthday party at a park in Daphne, Alabama. As minutes passed and no one showed up, he watched the parking lot and said he felt “sad, miserable and depressed.” His mother, Vicki Workman, could see how disappointed he was and wanted to help make the day better.

She took a chance and posted on social media asking if anyone nearby could come help celebrate. She couldn’t have imagined what would happen next. “Never did I expect like twenty-five, thirty, forty people to show up in a two-hour period,” she says. The post quickly spread and drew thousands of reactions.

Strangers brought gifts and even the local fire department surprised Kyler with a visit. He was thrilled to see the firetruck and the firefighters even gave him items he was hoping to get for Christmas. Vicki says the experience is a reminder that kindness is still out there, and Kyler says he’s grateful for everyone who showed up to make his day special.
