New study claims that Connecticut is the #7 most relaxed state in America?

Listen, I wish this were true..... but have you driven on the Parkway? 91? 84? No one is out there relaxing. New Hampshire came in at #1, by the way.

The below from Gambling.com:

Connecticut Named 7th Most Relaxed U.S State, According To New Study

In a world that always seems frenetic and fast paced, finding moments of relaxation and tranquility is more important than ever. This is true for every American, from those that live in the hustle and bustle of city life, to others that have a more rural existence.

To find the calmest corners of the country, the research team at Gambling.com decided to work out the Most & Least Relaxed States In The U.S. They did this by measuring five different factors that influence the general level of serenity in all 50 states: crime rate, air quality, forest/tree cover, disposable income (avg. salary minus rent), and online search volumes for the phrases ‘mindfulness’ & ‘meditation’.

,When all this is calmly considered, Connecticut is the 7th Most Relaxed State In America - with the Constitution State earning a Final Relaxation Score of 76 out of 100.

A lower crime rate, more disposable income, and practicing meditation and mindfulness methods have obvious stress reduction benefits. Being around forests and trees can also have many positives for people’s moods and overall human health, while exposure to good quality air helps prevent a number of diseases and premature death.
