With almost everything except essential businesses & services being shut down due to COVID-19, one service that many consider very essential that has been shut down because of social distancing is support groups.
I had an opportunity to speak with the Information Chair for Local District 9 for Alcoholic Anonymous and we had a great conversation talking about where online someone can look if they are in recovery from alcohol.
The two websites are:
CT-AA.ORG. This site lists local meetings that normally meet in person, but now list which ones have temporarily shifted to an online format.
AA-Intergroup.org. This site lists several online meetings that were already taking place online before the Covid-19 outbreak.
