I had a GREAT conversation today with Amelia Kingsley from Hamden. Amelia is 13 years old, goes to Hamden Middle School and since the COVID-19 outbreak started, she has been sewing masks for Yale New Haven! I saw Amelia a few weeks back on WTNH and we finally were able to hookup by facetime today with her Dad and she told me all about how she had been wanting to learn to sew for awhile, how she got the idea of sewing masks for Yale and some of the great people who have reached out to her since her story aired on WTNH.
