I had the opportunity to have a great conversation with Amanda Forst from the Connecticut Nutrition Network (CTN). All women, they have four stores in Southern Connecticut: Riverside Nutrition in Shelton, Westies in West Haven, U Nutrition in Hamden and Valley Nutrition in Oxford.
These amazing stores are SMOOTHIE & TEA bars! So instead of going and guzzling down some booze, swing over to one of these four locations and you can enjoy a healthy smoothie or tea.
The women from CTN have started putting together nutritional care packages for nurses and healthcare workers in New York. The program is called "DEAR NEW YORK" and in just one week, they have raised over $2,500 which equals about 180 care packages and 360 meals for the heroes sacrificing so much to combat the Covid-19 outbreak.
