It's not every day you get to propose to your High School sweetheart. For the past six months, I've been working with an illustrator to animate my girlfriend and myself into her favorite movie, Sleeping Beauty. On 12/30/19 I popped the question in a theater filled with our friends and family.
Give this dude a ton of credit. This is an absolutely bananaland proposal. The amount of effort that this dude put in is remarkable. Where the hell do you find an ILLUSTRATOR that is going to put you and your girlfriend into her favorite movie? Think about all of the trouble that he had to do to even find someone could do it. Never mind actually put them in the movie, produce the whole thing, etc. etc.
Then you go and find a movie theater that is willing to let you fill up one of their theaters with your illustrated Sleeping Beauty? That is an insane amount of work for a proposal. Some day, I'm just going to take a girl to the Dam at Bantam Lake where all the basic Connecticut people get engaged and propose to her. That's the best I can come up with.
This dude deserves a medal. I don't know how to put in that amount of effort. Some men are gods among men. This man is one of them. Props and congrats, and I have no doubt this marriage will NOT end in divorce. RESPECT, my
