TMZ is reporting that Paul Walker did not die from the impact of the crash alone (remember, it was a 45 mph crash - 3 times the speed limit in that area, but many people survive crashes at much higher speeds). He burned to death after the car crashed into a tree and a pole and exploded into flames.
Roger Rodas, the man who was driving the Porsche GT, died from "multiple traumatic injuries suffered upon impact". According to the report, burning was not listed as a factor in his death.
