Speed is to blame in the crash that killed Paul Walker, not mechanical failure. 

According to the crash report, the car was traveling between 80 and 93 MPH when the driver Roger Rodas lost control going around a curve before crashing.

Another source says that the tires on the Porche were 9 years old and the car's original set which means the traction on the tires were really weak.
