Don't get me wrong. I'm ALL in favor of emotional support animals like dog and cats on planes. HOWEVER...you GOTTA admit it got out of hand in the last few years! I mean, people were bringing chickens, armadillos, ostriches and other exotic animals on airplanes claiming they were "emotional support animals"

Well, the Department of Transportation is tightening up the law! The U.S. Department of Transportation said it “wants to ensure that individuals with disabilities can continue using their service animals while also reducing the likelihood that passengers wishing to travel with their pets on aircraft will be able to falsely claim their pets are service animals.”

In other words...no more pet alligators, miniature horses, iguanas or peacocks on planes.
