Sasquatch! won't be growing this year after all.

The Quincy, Washington music festival was set to expand to two weekends for the first time ever -- the usual Memorial Day festivities followed by a second event over the Fourth of July weekend.  But organizers have called off the Fourth of July weekend due to a lack of support.

Live Nation Seattle President Jeff Trisler explained in a statement that the Sasquatch community responded to the traditional Memorial Day weekend with "great enthusiasm," but the second weekend was "not embraced."

A number of acts had already been booked for the now-cancelled event, including Soundgarden, Kraftwerk, New Order, and Frank Ocean.

According to the Sasquatch! website, some of these performers will be making alternate plans to play other venues around the same time.
